  • Co-founded, launched, and successfully sold a premium luxury e-commerce business, Maeven Bridal, which provided curated subscription box memberships and products for brides (maevenbox.com). Voted Best Luxury Bridal Box by BRIDES magazine multiple years in a row.

  • Owned all aspects of communications strategy and PR agency management, resulting in coverage in New York Times (Sunday print and online), Cosmopolitan, Glamour, The Knot, Wedding Wire, Readers Digest and more. Experienced at in-person pitching and media desksides with top publications.

  • Led all marketing initiatives, including digital advertising, integrated marketing, social media strategy, influencer relations, agency management and content development, leading to a 168% growth over one year. Implemented customer acquisition, loyalty and retention strategies.

  • Directed comprehensive brand strategy, product curation and monthly content themes, cultivating a customer base of 2,000 monthly box subscriptions within the first two years, in addition to the core DTC e-commerce website business.

  • Managed P&L and all aspects of a 90+ product portfolio, from new product development (design, packaging and manufacturing) to product innovation, market research, consumer insights and performance analysis.

  • Negotiated key partnerships with trending brands such as Kendra Scott, Azazie, Spongelle, Patchology and Zoya Nails.

  • Developed and managed team of 7 internal direct report employees and 4+ external agencies, as well as contractors, photographers and content creators to drive business growth.

  • Oversaw the corporate marketing, internal and external communications, social media and public relations strategies for a network of 20 U.S. offices. Worked directly with the CEO, President, Senior Leadership, IT and HR to drive key organizational objectives.

  • Spearheaded a corporate-wide brand unification project, aligning visual and messaging standards across 20 unique brand entities. This strengthened brand identity and enabled all companies to leverage centralized assets, resulting in cost savings.

  • Pioneered an innovative, high-touch recruitment strategy in partnership with HR, launching dynamic, automated, personalized Wix microsites for each applicant in highest priority roles. These microsites featured tailored and personalized messaging, lifestyle insights and career pathways, to capture top talent from competitors and establish the company’s brand as a top employer of choice.

  • Championed a centralized and interactive integrated marketing and sales asset hub, enabling users from all companies to quickly create customized marketing assets, sales pitch decks and other materials. This innovation resolved a significant company-wide pain point, reducing proposal processing time from three days to just three hours.

  • Managed an in-house creative department to develop new external and internal brand guidelines, sales materials and full website redesign. Guided all marketing and content development.

  • Led all aspects of the corporation’s marketing and communication plans including advertising, public relations, internal communications, media and special event planning. GLDD is publicly held and the largest dredging company in the United States, with $800+ million in revenue, significant international operations and several subsidiary companies.

  • Worked directly with the CEO, Senior Leadership, and cross functionally with HR, Investor Relations, IT and business units across the corporation to develop targeted content and collateral to drive key organizational initiatives.

  • Developed and implemented a new internal communications program to better inform, connect and engage employees across the worldwide network of companies.

    • Initiative included complete redesign of the intranet, integrated HTML email campaigns and employee educational and wellness programs. Coordinated town hall meetings and webcasts, video messaging and team-building events to better connect C-level management with employees.

  • Built the marketing department from the ground up; managed and developed an in-house creative department to support company growth.

  • Managed the integration and onboarding of new company marketing departments during a series of M&A acquisitions. Oversaw and guided subsidiary marketing strategies.

  • Led corporate philanthropic efforts, planned employee volunteer events and fundraising efforts.

  • Editor-in-Chief for all corporate publications and newsletters, corporate magazine and annual reports.
